In today’s post, I’ll be sharing three tips for updating your style on a budget plus a look that is perfect for the last few days for (an outside) brunch. Winter is coming and so I am trying to make the best of these last warm weather days and if the weather as of late is any indicator winter is coming soon. At the beginning of every season, there is a temptation to buy a closet full of clothes but the truth is most of us have the basics already in our closet and really not the budget to buy a new closet full of clothes.
The easiest way to update your style on a budget is to do research, first look into your closet and figure out what is missing, look at the upcoming (fall) season’s TREND and find out what works for you.
The second way to update your style on a budget is to purge and sell as you look in your closet pick out the pieces that you’ve rarely worn or are in good condition and sell them on sites like thredUP and Poshmark even Storenvy.
Finally, don’t forget about money saving apps and websites Ebates, Retailmenot, ShopTagr and so much more. A little research will save you $$$
As for today’s look, I am wearing a Rachel Roy dress via Gwynnie Bee, Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription service. When you join Gwynnie Bee your clothing options increase exponentially because depending on the plan (Find Out More) you can borrow and return as much as you want. I paired the denim dress with lemon print mules and the blogger bag of the season a Wicker half moon Bag. This one happens to be an affordable Dupe for the Ark by Cult Gaia bag which is frequently out of stock. I have to say I was reluctant at first about getting this bag because it literally was all over my feed, however, IRL no one has it and every time I carry it catches someone’s attention. For a dupe, I am pretty impressed with this bag, it comes in 2 sizes and is really great quality and of course half the price of the Cult Gaia.
There are soo many sales it can be so overwhelming I’ve made things simple shop my fall & back to school ready picks before they sell out Here & Here
I hope you are having an awesome Labor Day weekend 😘
