From Day to Night: Cobalt Soft Pants & Neon Top

The color cobalt compliments chocolate skin beautifully and it is becoming a fast favorite of mine. I am pretty sure its because of These  pants from Old Navy ( also comes in Black) . I cant  pin point what it is I love exactly about these Pants , may be it is its high waist, its tie that cinches in the waist, or the perfect drape of the silk like fabric either way they are a favorite ( see this look in motion in my latest video Here ).

I am all about looks that can easily transition from day to night ( I shared more about this Here). I figured rather than just writing about it, I would show you guys, and why not show you, with my current favorite pants ( which I also wore Here). In order not to run the risk of being repetitive, I will say the key to transitioning a look from day to night lies in your accessories ( Gladiators or Pumps, Clutch or Tote).

Changing gears a little bit below I’ve recapped some Fall staples from
the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I would pick up now while the prices are so good and they are still available. I know it seems NUTS to shop for Fall while it feels like a 120 degrees outside. 

However I assure you that you will thank me in November. I’ve learned after several years of being that girl  searching for those “pieces” (  a Faux Fur Jacket, Long Line Vest,  Leather Jacket, Wide Calf Boots e.t.c)  in the Fall  that if you wait till you need it, you would be lucky to find anything . Seriously take my advice don’t wait buy now!!
