Here at Supplechic we have rounded up some recent news to bring awareness to the happening in the plus size fashion community. One of the main things that happened this month was of course NYFW and one of the first Fall 2018 collections that caught or eye was Chromat Fall 2018 fashion show . Designer Becca McCharen not only had her ladies looking fierce as they walked the runway but she made sure it was diverse cast of models, featuring all ages and sizes during her show.
Speaking of all sizes Loft has announced they have added a new plus size range. I had to go and check them out and I’m getting casual chic vibes, which I love. Check out my previous spring transitioning post for a quick glance at the plus selection. Last but not least yours truly is collaborating with Loft and I am inviting you to our pop up party so don’t forget to sign up.
Target has given us yet another reason to shop there, Universal Thread. This collection is truly universal each piece ranges from a 00 to a 26w. These pieces are great transitioning pieces and more importantly affordable. Universal Thread is available online and in store for your convenience.
Here at Supplechic we get excited when we see an inclusive runway show fashion should be for all and one early adopter was Christian Siriano so he gets an A+ from us. At Christian Siriano’s runway show all the ladies looked like a million bucks with the lux fabrics, overall the collection exuded an aura of luxury.
This collection for fall featured a number of red looks and then segwayed into metallics which prepared us for the show stopping pieces towards the end. Some looks where minimal but they still packed a punch. Also not only did he embrace the plus size community he surprised us with a few mens looks as well.
