Hi Chicsters, today’s post is all about wearing black in the summer. If you are anything like me black is a staple in your wardrobe so I’m sure you are thinking why should we have to give it up in the summer? Guess what you don’t have to give it up if you use these tips.
- Go for black pieces in natural fibers, like cotton and linen
- Go for black pieces with built-in vents like cut-outs, lace, and eyelets
- Finally, choose black pieces in summer friendly silhouettes. Think flowy, breezy non-clingy silhouettes and cuts like an A-line skirt or off shoulder top/dress.
There you have it now you don’t have to give up the black portion of your closet. As far as my outfit I am wearing an Asymmetrical dress from Eloquii. Cant tell you how many times I was stopped about this dress it definitely makes a statement and it currently is currently 30% off (use code LOOVE). I paired the dress with red sandals and the newest addition to my wicker bag collection (shop HERE) finally finished it off with white tassel earrings.
Can you believe Memorial day weekend is over hope you had a blast so glad its un-officially summer. Would love your input on the kind of content you would like to see more off! Send us your feedback via email we would love to know what we are doing right.
