Yes You can Look Good & Stay Dry on a Rainy Day

Hi, Chicsters today’s post is all about what to wear on a rainy day. Its been raining cats and dogs around here, however, I am grateful to not be in the part of the country that’s been hit with severe flooding. Rain for a day is cute but after a couple of days!! It can also be tricky to dress for, first of all, if you have anything other than TWA I’m pretty sure the last thing you want is your hair getting wet. Then depending on the day, it may be rainy and cold or hot or the worst humid. Ok, let me stop its just rain.

Here are the 5 things to think about when getting ready on a rainy day!

First, will my shoes keep my feet dry, and be undamaged in the rain.

Second, will my clothes keep me try, will it remain undamaged in the rain ( no silks today)

Third, how will I keep my head dry ( not the day for a blow out)

Fourth, will I need outerwear ( perhaps a lightweight coated canvas, jacket) will it be cool, or hot and sticky

Finally, the 5th and most important question do I really need to go out?

This look works for a drizzle to light rain, my head is covered with my Brixton baker boy, I have on a waterproof-ish yellow motto jacket from Eloquii and leather Chelsea boot (feet is fully covered and will stay dry). lastly, so that I don’t overheat a cotton shirtdress. If the forecast called for heavier rain I’d opt for a white button down and jeans ( keep legs covered) or Chelsea rain boots.

BTW we will be rounding up our top style picks + favorite sales and promo codes all weekend long so make sure to come back now you here.
