CHIC FINDS

Everything I Wore During During NYFW (Almost Anyway!)

Hi, Chicsters so today’s post is the post a lot of you have been waiting for, my NYFW outfit diary. Fashion month came and is now long gone my apologies for the tardiness of this one. I hope you all took advantage of the ChicList page and picked up the pieces you had your eyes on. The good thing about this post going up now is that it’s about to be the holiday sale season ayeeeeee with Black FridayCyber Monday looming you can really get the most out of your dollar!!

On day two I attended the Escada show (see Runway report Here), the Girl With Curves X Lane Bryant Pop Up, The Essence Streetstyle Event, and had dinner with some blogger pals. I opted for a floral dress from Asos in a size 18 (shop Here), the weather was not what I was expecting so I had to make a few changes. It was drizzling on and off all day so I paired the dress with a denim jacket, a beret, converses, and my red bucket bag. This floral dress is currently about half off, it has this drawstring feature that you can customize to get the right fit, my only issue with it is the neckline which is pretty plunging.

Blazer and biker shorts outfit NYFW

On day three my first stop was the SaksITList TownHouse (very similar to the Refinery29 Rooms) they had several rooms/installations showcasing the hottest trends for fall/winter. They had a very interesting leopard room a plaid rooms with great props and much more that were all very Instagramable. On this day I was most out of my comfort zone I opted for a White blazer from H&M and grey biker shorts from Old Navy who am I right! To finish things off I went for a silver woven tote that I scored from Shein for almost nothing and my Air Maxes from my day one outfit! After that experience and a quick outfit change not pictured I jetted off to the Eloquii offices and then to Spring Street studios for Yajun SS19. You can watch my entire experience via IG Highlights.

DOUBLE CHECK asos dress NYFW

The last day was mainly a shoot day & travel Day I was incredibly tired but I was able to squeeze in one show (GypsySport) at the Samsung space , we shot 3 looks but only 2 made the cut. The first was the double check print dress from Asos in a size 16 (shop Here). I paired the look with a yellow faux leather jacket from Eloquii and red sandals from torrid I finished things off with a clear PVC bag from Shein again ( another under $10 find).

The last look was my favorite look from the trip and will be in its own post so stay tuned, if you are following me on IG you’ve probably seen it ( follow me @supplechic ).

NYFW IG STORIES SS19

This year far exceeded my expectations, things did not go as planned however God still made a way. I did realize something from this trip “Manns” getting old and soon very soon I will be forced to make/take that leap of faith.
