Hi, Chicsters today's post is all about the one fall 2019 trend every curvy girl should buy into especially if you are looking for a look that will flatter a bigger belly! Blazers never really go out of style but this season designers took a nod from the 80's by showcasing oversized belted menswear blazers. Think you're mamas shoulder pads with a cinched-in waist.
This trend is great for hiding belly fat because the Blazer/Jacket comes in at the waist and flairs out over the belly. The structure from the blazer means that it creates a flattering silhouette over the belly lower abdomen, and hip area. A structured blazer is a classic so if you don't already own some you can buy in knowing that it never really goes out of style. It also doesn't hurt that a well made structured blazer oozes sophistication and that it hides a multitude of other issues like back fat!

If you're on a budget I suggest you raid your older relatives closet or head on over to the thrift store. It's a great way to buy into the trend without investing and it's also great for the environment!

Quick Tip: Opt for a double-breasted silhouette if you want to nail this look!
My blazer is actually from last year it's by Nine West (I also wore it HERE) and I picked it up via Macy's. It sold out at Macys but I did find a size 14 Here for under $30 (this is a MAJOR steal) and a size 22 Here. I also found a SIMILAR Blazer at Asos (on Sale) which I styled Here unbelted. I chose to tone down the masculinity of today's Blazer by pairing it with a black midi skirt from Prettylittlething and my go-to mules from Target!

Trends like this can be polarizing at times with that being said are you for or against the 80's blazer trend? Would you rock it and where to?
