Weekend To Work Style With QVC

weekend to work with QVC from supplechic a fashion and lifestyle blog based in Baltimore-04

Hi Chicsters in today's post I'll be sharing my weekend to work uniform with you in partnership with QVC. My go-to outfits to wear on Saturday, how I dress on Sundays and finally what I wear during the workweek as a creative.

I have been compensated by QVC for this blog post. All opinions are my own.

In the last, two or so years I've made intentional efforts in upgrading my basics and in upgrading the pieces I wear the most you want to invest in pieces that "wear" well. It's my number one tip for elevating your style but also maximizing your shopping budget.

SHOP SATURDAY

Saturdays typically are an errand day and I like to be comfortable when I run errands so nine times out of ten you will catch me in sweats. I've learned that the key to wearing sweats without looking like a slob is to invest in them I like to invest in sets. This is why I love that QVC came out with there own inhouse athleisure brand called Zuda. It features interchangeable separates that you can pair together to create sets.

Rather than going for typical gym gear black I figured why not elevate the look and go for some color. Here I am wearing their Packable Puffer Excursion Jacket with Fanny Pack in Rose Tan in a size 1X. I love that this jacket is lightweight but still provides good coverage from the elements and is fully lined. Its made out of performance type fabric so when I got makeup on it I was able to get it off easily with a wipe. But that's not the best part, the jacket also comes with a matching fanny pack (which the jacket can easily fold into) so you can go hands-free while running errands.

On my bottoms, I went for the Zuda Z-Stretch Momentum Leggings in Iron ( I sized down in them to a 1X ) I love how it complements the jacket. These leggings have a waistband with internal power mesh, seaming detail, a side panel pocket, and provide tummy support.

My Sundays are anchored around going to church and on this day I opted for a dark floral dress the Timeless Blooms Cinch Waist Dress by Vince Camuto in a 1X. The best part of this dress has to be its shirred waist; if your family is anything like mine there is always one big meal on Sundays no matter if its brunch, dinner or lunch in this dress, you can eat all you want. The dress although made out of a chiffon style fabric is lined and features a scoop neckline, keyhole back neck with button closure, long sheer sleeves and the shirring detail around the cuffs as well.

Its Monday I'm sure if you're like me you are thinking that was fast but you're also ready to tackle the new week ahead! I live in jeans if I'm not in sweats I'm in jeans and I am an avid believer in dressing up a pair of jeans. I've been fortunate in my life that every career I've ever worked in has allowed me that privilege. With that said I think I'm developing into a denim snob lol! These NYDJ I picked up at QVC mold to fit you they have the proper weight denim should have but they are not overly stiff or flimsy they have the right amount of stretch which means you can wear them all day long.

I am wearing them here in a size 18 I sized down from the size chart. To complete the look I am wearing two pieces from the Rachel Hollis Ltd. line the V-Neck Long-Sleeve Sweater in Buttercream in a Size 1X ( could have sized down) and the Camo Jacket in Olive also in a 1X (TTS). It's like her line was made for me loved the oversized waffle knit top and how the corresponding camo jacket paired so well with it. This look is perfect for a business casual environment, I would have worn this to work as a teacher and now as a content creator, it's perfect for work as a creative.

OMg, I almost forgot about my boots!! The Louise et Cie Mid-Shaft Boots called Winslow in Teracotta Croco I'm sure I gasped when I saw them they are a faux croc midi boot the color the styling says luxury but yet its affordable. I sneaked it on stories and got so many DM's Im wearing them in a size 12 (I sized up because they are cut more European).

What's your work to weekend uniform like? Do you love athleisure and denim-like me? Or is your uniform a bit more formal? comment below.
