Hi, Chicsters today's post is all about wearable fall 2022 trends. Not only are these trends what you will be seeing on all of your favorite fashion it girls they are also trends that will work for curvy girls as well. Why care about trends at all? I'll be answering that question later on in the post but for now, Ive found that the best approach when it comes to trends is to stay abreast with the latest and incorporate what works best with your personal style.

90s Minimal

90s minimal is back and y'all I'm not mad at it. From the iconic white tank at Prada to the heavy use of black leather at Chloe. Paired-down silhouettes also reigned supreme so think leather blazers, slinky slip dresses, and oversized button-downs this is a trend that is not only practical but actually makes it super easy to dress from day to day because it all about highlighting basics. So if you are a team minimal the fashion gods did not forget you this is the trend for you.

Sparkle and shine took centerstage this fall & winter from oversized sequin frocks to heavily embellished pieces. For the maximalist, this is the season you'veve been waiting for. If you're not keen on showing up to work in a head-to-toe sequined number then one of the best ways to incorporate this trend is to lean heavy on the metallics. From nail polish to accessories and with separates metallics allow you to subtly dabble with the trend.

Yes, a color can be a trend and I believe the house of Valentino Set out to do just that. Not only did the entire runway show comprise of head-to-toe monochrome pink looks so did the set. Now any time we think of pink in the near future we shall think of Valentino. This bold move solidified the Barbiecore trend that has been steadily growing. So If you're looking for a color to add to your wardrobe this season try pink.

Leather Look

Fashion girls love mixing textures especially when the temps dip. This season the runways took it up a notch with the incorporation of head to toe leather ensembles. Leather-look clothing can be found everywhere from pants to dresses to skirts your neighborhood fast fashion store has something in store for you.

Utilitarian trends have become a mainstay since the pandemic because they are comfortable to wear and functional. This season's iteration the cargo pant it's the new-ish kid on the block and it is a nice alternative to the sweat pant. Depending on the style, you can easily dress it up and dress it down and we stan a versatile piece around these parts.

I'm curious what's your least favorite trend for AW 22? Wanna know mine go watch this video!

No surprise here that when temps dip designers love more structure and nothing says structure like an impeccably tailored suit. Now this season's suits were anything but boring from added corsets to sequins to vibrant hues in pink and cobalt. whether or not you are a corporate girly there will be a suit with your name on it. If suiting isn't your thing Id consider separates like a pencil skirt or vest. Picture this outfit a sheer bodysuit with a tailored vest and leather pants or a slip skirt and boots.

So why bother with trends you ask? Because keeping abreast with the trends not only keeps your style fresh, it keeps you feeling and looking fresh.
